TAKE IT SLOW is designed to establish, manage & promote Adriatic Region as smart, integrated, sustainable, accessible, year-round, green & slow tourist destination of the Mediterranean based on accessible, protected, valorised & promoted tangible & intangible joint natural & cultural heritage of its islands, coastal, inland & rural Adriatic. With realization of project activities within 36 months, DNC & 11 project partners & 1 AP will trigger high-quality level of services and products of tourism value chain through smart specialization concepts stimulating innovation, knowledge, competitiveness, networking and CB partnership processes.
TAKE IT SLOW will develop CB partnership platform of scientific, private & public sector with 100 actors, strategic framework, methodology, monitoring system, marketing & promotion of CB tourism destination focused on 10 cultural & natural heritage, 10 ecolabel/green certification obtained and promotion of sustainable tourism realized and 7 natural and/or cultural heritage sites with improved accessibility put in place. Project will contribute to more balanced seasonality of tourism activities on natural & cultural heritage sites in Project area & make natural & cultural heritage a leverage for sustainable & more balanced territorial development.

Dubrovnik Neretva Region (DNR) is TAKE IT SLOW project's lead partner. With the Dubrovnik as centre, 1.024,63 km of Adriatic coastline, over 200 islands and numerous UNESCO heritage sites, the region is focused on high quality tourism experience. Through TAKE IT SLOW, DNR and Regional agency DUNEA will capitalize on the natural and cultural heritage of the Peljesac peninsula and create new slow CB tourism offer through sustainable smart green, innovative and creative concepts

PUBLIC INSTITUTION RERA SD FOR COORDINATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF SPLIT-DALMATIA COUNTY
Public Institution RERA SD for development and coordination Split Dalmatia County (PI RERA SD) is established with the aim of creating an operational unit responsible for the development of the SDC region. Participation in TAKE IT SLOW project for PI RERA S.D. will result in improving capacities for the sustainable development in tourism sector in region through the creation of cross-border networks that will involve tourism stakeholders, producers, policy makers and other relevant stakeholders.

The Territorial Cooperation Service of the Molise Region, with the involvement of the other regional structures competent for matter, is engaged in various managing EU-funded projects; in particular, in development program to promote tourism as a driving force for the growth of the local economy. This project will help to focus on slow and sustainable tourism, in order to reach high standards of touristic quality.

APULIAN PUBLIC THEATRE - REGIONAL CONSORTIUM FOR ARTS AND CULTURE

TPP is a Regional Multi-disciplinary Network with the aim of the promotion and education of the audience, recognized by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities. In Take it Slow, TPP makes available its expertise in managing complex EU funded projects in the Cultural field. Working closely with Local communities and Puglia Region, through research and restoration activities will enhance cultural and natural attractors of Puglia as a sustainable and slow CB tourist destination.

PUBLIC INSTITUTION DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF ŠIBENIK-KNIN COUNTY
Public Institution Development Agency of Šibenik-Knin County funded and owned by the Regional Authority of the Šibenik-Knin County operates as regional coordinator of towns and municipalities in the region. Through, TAKE IT SLOW project, it will contribute to more sustainable and balanced economic and tourist development in the whole area of Šibenik-Knin County, both coastal and inland areas.

UNIVERSITY OF ZADAR
University of Zadar provides exchange of scientific experience within the partnership, which allows the conservation, protection, management and promotion of joint natural and cultural heritage through smart specialization and improved quality in tourism. Its responsible for preparing thematic research of the natural and cultural heritage to improve the heritage site area under the project management and testing measures of protected natural and cultural heritage sites.

In the frame of pilot action Region of Istria will establish Visitor interpretive centre House of Istrian Castles with the main goal of presenting, promoting and improving accessibility to natural and cultural heritage of fortified cities and castles, typical products and enogastronomy of inland Istria.

The Abruzzo Region is highly qualified in managing EU-funded projects, and covered the role of MA of the IPA Adriatic CBC Programme 2007-2013 throughout until March 2018, with 108 projects financed, in line with the EUSAIR objectives. Its contribution to the project focuses on improving the road signs of the 88Km long cycle path along the abandoned railroad in the Costa dei trabocchi - which is about to be completed - being this the best slow tourism solution to apply across the territory.
