To define a new model of development centered on the integration between cultural
chain and tourism one in the district form connected between the transboundary
area, by strengthening the competitiveness visibility at international level, through
action of valorization of the existing heritage, by promoting innovative solutions and
developing tourism products and destinations with huge cultural characterization.

The Municipality of Comacchio is called as “the little Venice” thanks to its unique environment able to merge nature and history making it as one of the most characteristics lagoon’s city. Comacchio has a very rich cultural and historical heritage that, during the last years, combined in the Old Delta Museum that collect artefacts from the whole territory: from the Etruscan city of Spina till the Roman world and lastly the born of the city as a commercial place in the high medieval period.

Po Delta Veneto Regional Park
The Po Delta Regional Park in Veneto was established by Veneto Region in 1997 and extends in the province of Rovigo and includes the territory between the river Adige and Po di Goro. The Po Delta of Veneto stretches out for 786 km2, out of which 160 consist of lagoons and "valli". The Park protected area covers 130 km2. The Municipalities involved are 9: Adria, Ariano nel Polesine, Corbola, Loreo, Papozze, Porto Tolle, Porto Viro, Rosolina, Taglio di Po with over 73 thousand inhabitants.

Emilia-Romagna Region
The Emilia-Romagna Region is a public body with responsibilities in cultural and tourist activities over the whole regional area. The Directorate has competences both in terms of cultural protection and promotion as well as in tourism promotion, with the objective to increase attractiveness of the territories of Emilia- Romagna Region. In both these areas, the Directorate has developed skills and knowledge in the preparation and management of European projects.

DELTA 2000 is as local Development Agency and Local Action Group LAG in Po Delta area. It is a mixed company of 64 partners representing the main local institutions and economic and social stakeholders. DELTA2000 aim to promote local resources and economic activities in harmonised and integrated way to support economic growth and create new development opportunities. It has 25-year experience in planning & managing development projects related to tourism, environment, culture, innovation.

City of Kaštela
City of Kaštela has hierarchical administrative structure with Mayor and two Deputies on the top and 7 departments for different fields of interest. As a local authority, City of Kaštela perform activities of a local importance such are: urban planning, upbringing and education, social and child care, primary health care, culture, physical culture and sport, utility management, maintenance of public places, traffic and others. The municipality does not perform economic activities on the market.

The Town of Cres, located on Croatia’s largest island Cres, is a municipality of 2800 inhabitants. Encouraging and increasing the collaboration of island’s private, public and civil sector, Cres is working towards the implementation of a long term development strategy, with a focus on innovative use of local resources.
