WHY WEBDOC?

WHY WEBDOC?

A webdoc is a documentary production that uses and combines traditional forms - such as photos, text, audio, video, infographics - by applying a full complement of multimedia tools in a unique interactive interface.

The user decides on its own journey through the content based on its needs and curiosity. Choosing this interactive format - that is the result of the union between the combination of languages and communication systems - our users acquire the control of the navigation and in a way become the creators of their own thematic narration.

The Programme focuses the thematic webdoc narration on the following topics:

  • Marine litter
  • Port hubs
  • Sea economy
  • Accessible cultural heritage

For each of the 4 webdocs the Programme develops the narration starting from the initial context and from the main problems affecting the Area with some numbers on the hand, then moving and focusing on the concrete joint actions proposed and put in place by our projects in order to address, alleviate or solve the problem on the cross-border shared resources.

You can explore the webdocs by scrolling the webpage or by clicking on the button that will lead you to a new tab for a more immersive and overall webdoc interactive experience.
