MONITORING COMMITTEE
According to art. 47 of CPR, the MC has to be set up within three months of the date of notification to the Member States of the Commission decision adopting the Cooperation Programme.
Its composition has to be agreed by the Member States participating in the Programme and includes their relevant representatives. MC composition has to be in accordance with art. 5.2 of CPR and with the requirements set forth by the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 240/2014 – Code of Conduct; representatives of the economic and social partners and bilateral non-governmental organisations, bodies representing civil society (e.g.: environmental partners, non-governmental organizations) have to be involved in accordance with art. 10.2 of Code of Conduct.
Moreover, the MC has to include representatives of:
- European Commission, in advisory capacity
- Managing Authority (MA), in advisory capacity
- Joint secretariat (JS), in advisory capacity and with role of secretarial support to the Monitoring Committee
- Audit Authority (AA) as an independent observer.
The Certifying Authority (CA) shall participate by invitation of the MC Presidency, where necessary.

COMPOSITION
As established by Member States agreement (reached during the Task Force meeting held in Venice on 16th February, 2016), the decided Monitoring Committee composition was formally adopted by Veneto regional government resolution No 257 on 8th March, 2016.
