Is it mandatory or not that the Lead Applicant (Lead Partner) takes the coordination of WP2 and appoints the Communication Manager of the project?

Notwithstanding the assumption that the responsibility of the Lead Partner is ensured throughout the implementation of the entire operation, under which it sets the coordination structure through the appointment of key figures operating for the entire partnership, it is not mandatory that the Lead Partner takes the coordination of WP Communication activities (WP2) as this function can be assigned to a different Project Partner.
