Cyclotourism as the core tool for promoting the beautiful Abruzzo region, which still has great growth potential in terms of appeal. And cyclotourism is also at the heart of the “Abruzzo Bike Friendly” initiative, the network created by the Region with the intention of promoting a network of accommodation facilities and complementary services capable of fostering the development and qualification of the cyclotourism offer. 

Within the TAKE IT SLOW project, the region is promoting its regional heritage as part of a common Adriatic heritage, also by offering specialised training to tourist operators to respond to the need to become truly “green”.
