STREAM, started 3 years ago with 16 Italian and Croatian partners to develop shared strategies to better manage flood events in the Italian and Croatian coast areas is nearing its conclusion. 
In its 39 months of activities the project developed flood monitoring tools and innovative forecasting and warning systems, as well as management plans to support risk management and rescue.  
Thus, the Final Conference in Venice will be the occasion to show how the project contributed to improve the technologies of the early warning and monitoring systems and to enhance the capacity of the emergency services to promptly react to flood events in the involved territories.
