The seminar is framed within the research activities of STREAM project within which IUAV University has been researching Flood Risk Management Plans following a multi-hazard mindset, including climate change scenarios, and addressing the complexity of the Adriatic coasts in terms of land uses. The Seminar sessions will address adaptation and flood risk mitigation along the Science-Policy-Action path - both theoretical and operative perspectives will be discussed. EU climate adaptation policy, climate adaptation finance, adaptation good practices and solutions, flood risk analysis, local adaptation planning, enterprises and critical infrastructure adaptation are the topics investigated in depth by the speakers. At the end (afternoon) of the 2nd day a workshop will take place where (just) the inpresence speakers will participate to. Seminar’s insights will be discussed aiming at creating ideas and a core cluster for specific forthcoming EU-adaptation calls.
