INTERREG ITALY-CROATIA CBC PROGRAMME 2021-2027
Cross-border cooperation among the territories overlooking the Adriatic Sea has been encouraged by Interreg Italy-Croatia Programme during the 2014-2020 programming period and will be further supported in the forthcoming period 2021-2027.
The Interreg Italy-Croatia CBC Programme 2021-2027 will be focussing on the blue economy, capitalising previous cooperation experiences and creating stronger synergies with EUSAIR.
The Programme strategy will support:

| the promotion of a sustainable economic development through green and blue innovation policies; |
|
| the protection of natural assets also through climate adaptation strategies and risk prevention measures, enhancing biodiversity and fighting pollution; |
|
| the valorization of cultural heritage through sustainable and diversified touristic products; |
|
| the implementation of sustainable cross-border mobility solutions. |
|
| the enhancement of institutional capacity and the reduction of cross border obstacles |
The Interreg Programme has been approved in August 2022.
