On June 24th and 25th, in the ancient church in Castilenti and in the premises of the Campli Fire Department, the High Level Conference organized by Consorzio Punto Europa on behalf of FIRESPILL project “ANCHE TU SEI LA PROTEZIONE CIVILE” took place.

During this two days event, local and national authorities meet local volunteers to honor n.37 of them because of their intervention in the Emilia Romagna region during the floods in and around the main cities, helping and supporting communities in trouble.

In both events local Civil Protection associations received self protection equipment for volunteers (n.45) as fulfillment of the forest firefighting training organized by Cope in the framework of FIRESPILL project.

Citizens took the opportunity to attend the CP vehicles exhibitions and fire drills and in this occasion volunteers adhered to FIRESPILLBOT, the Telegram channel created to involve experts and citizens in the first reaction to natural or manmade disasters and raising awareness.
