The journalist study visit of the One Stop Information Center (OSIC) Da Varano ancient mill, Muccia (Italy) has been organized by Marche Region - Integrated EU and National Resources Programming Unit and the Municipality of Muccia on 17th June 2023.

On 17th June the journalist study visit of the One Stop Information Center (OSIC) Da Varano ancient mill in Muccia (Italy) took place.

This journalist visit organized by Marche Region - Integrated EU and National Resources Programming Unit and the Municipality of Muccia is part of the activities envisaged by the INTERREG Italy-Croatia 2014-2020 "BOOST5" project on the subject of sustainable tourism, in particular the touristic enhancement of cultural, off-road, industrial and natural heritage. 
Inaugurated on 25th June 2021, the OSIC represents a real “hub between fast and slow mobility” and an innovative center in which, through the use of IT and technological supports, the tourist can  access and discover in a physical and digital mode to the natural and cultural heritage of the Valle del Chienti.

In particular, as part of several events to promote the local natural, cultural, and gastronomic heritage, journalists have discovered the OSIC Da Varano ancient mill, the surrounding natural landscape, and gastronomic typical products. During the study visit, a new cultural and gastronomic itinerary "the lands of truffles" was launched. 
This itinerant initiative focused on truffles and natural and cultural heritage will be the driving force aiming at promoting the surrounding territories, starting from Muccia.

Finally, all the participants – journalists and bloggers, but also local public authorities and tourists - tasted the local products as part of the identity and the story of the surrounding territories.
