Venice, Living Lab Networking Seminar for knowledge transfer on BLUTOURSYSTEM outputs

On 20 May 2019, in the frame of BLUTOURSYSTEM project, Veneto Region organized its Living Lab Networking seminars in Venice.

The location of the seminar was Venice lagoon and its main aim of the seminar was the knowledge transfer on BLUTOURSYSTEM outputs and the value of Smart Indicators systems. A session was dedicated also to gather and share destination needs. Thanks to these activities, BLUTOURSYSTEM project contributes to improve the frame conditions for the Blue Tourism sustainable growth.

BLUTOURSYSTEM project involves in this Living Lab Workshop several stakeholders, representative of both public and private sector in the tourism field. Other living labs were organized before in other locations in order to create a network and renew the way of involving key actors with different profiles, interests and priorities, implementing a human-centred process that will generate innovative ideas to support blue creative strategies and increase awareness of the community and new scenarios. This network will support the creation of the BLUETOURSYSTEM platform as an open innovation ecosystem, created specifically to support the growth of sustainable tourism in the CB area. The areas interested by the project involve three Adriatic regions (Veneto, Puglia and Istrian) and three destinations Split and the cities of Dubrovnik and Venice.

BLUTOURSYSTEM project is funded by Interreg V-A Italy-Croatia CBC Programme 2014-2020, mainly through the European Regional Development Fund and will last for 18 mounths.
