The meeting was held in Trieste 

On March 8, the Kick-off meeting of BLUE KEP – “BLUE Knowledge Exchange Program and integration of education systems in the cross-border area” was held at the Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional Council - De Rinaldini Hall, Piazza Oberdan, in Trieste (from 09:45 to 16:00).

The BLUE KEP Project, started on January 2018 and approved in the framework of the 1st Call for proposal "Standard+" projects of the Interreg Italy-Croatia CBC Programme, involves the following partners:

  • Informest (IT), as Lead Partner
  • Adriatic-Ionian Euroregion (AIE) (HR)
  • Region Marche  (IT)
  • Region of Istria (HR)
  • Development Agency of Sibenik-Knin County (HR)
  • RERA for Coordination and Development of Split-Dalmatia County (HR)

BLUE KEP aims at enhancing the framework conditions for innovation in nautical and maritime sectors within the cooperation area, by strengthening integration of education systems in the cross-border area through the harmonization of the technical education systems.

THE  II PROJECT COORDINATION MEETING WAS HELD IN SIBENIK

On Tuesday June 5th was held the second BLUE KEP project coordination meeting in Sibenik (Croatia)

The meeting was an occasion to present the state of the art of the implemented activities, starting from the accreditation of technical and professional secondary schools in transportation, logistics and nautical and of the identification of the group of students to be included in exchanges between Italy and Croatia. The partner from the Marche Region introduced the forthcoming Exchange Workshop that will take place next OCtober and will be addressed to teachers with a view to develop coooperation agreements and pave the way to the creation of international modules intended to be applied during the students' mobility. The partners also discussed about different methodological and organisational aspects related to the students' mobility phase (#school training & #apprenticeship) of the duration of 45 days that will be organised in #Spring 2019 and that will be held under the coordination of Informest, the BLUE KEP Project Lead Partner.
