The Innocultour project participated in the World Tourism Event (WTE) held at "Palazzo Venezia", in Rome, from 26 to 28 September.

This year more than 120 UNESCO sites and their territories took part to the event with the aim of promoting a more conscious and responsible cultural tourism. The WTE was therefore the perfect stage to present the cultural sites involved in the project: MUSA Salt Museum (Cervia Italy); Museum of Wood and Deer (Mesola, Italy); Network of Museums and Castles of Fortore Molisano (Campobasso, Italy); Civic Museum of the Southern Lagoon (Chioggia, Italy); Great Rivers Museums (Rovigo, Italy); 4 Ethno-eco Villages on the island of Hvar (Croatia); Natural History Museum Rijeka and the Zrinskih Castle (Croatia).

During the first day, the WTE also organized a b2b workshop, an opportunity of direct negotiation between supply and demand, in which 65 tour operators and 120 sellers from 15 different countries met directly. Seven representatives of the sites involved in the project participated in order to promote their tourist offers.

The WTE has also offered, through the organization of scientific conferences, different moments to reflect and discuss tourism policies. Innocultour also contributed to the initiative through the presentation of the project and its results on Friday 27 thanks to the spechees by Angela Nazzaruolo (DELTA 2000) and Aurora Di Mauro (Veneto Region).
