“Biochar in agriculture: an opportunity to store carbon in soil”

Biochar is a charcoal-like material made from agricultural and forestry wastes. It is a powerful weapon in the fight against climate change, because it allows to capture carbon in soil in a very efficient way while improving the quality of soils.

The seminar will take place on december 6th 2019, in Nullo Baldini Hall, via Faentina 106, Ravenna, from 9:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.

Among the speakers will be representatives of ARPAE, Geco2 project leader, the Italian association iChar, research institutions (University of Bologna, Bolzano, Modena and Reggio Emilia, Crea of Bologna, Cnr-Ibe and Crpv) and the world of production (companies RES coop. and ET srl).
