Published on 12/06/2023 (last modified 12/12/2023)

Ideas, projects and solutions from the Adriatic coasts and local communities. CREATE Project Final Conference takes place in Venice on 14 June 2023 - 9.30 a.m. - 4 p.m. at NH Rio Novo Hotel, Calle Larga Ragusei, 3489/E-C.

There are effective and feasible solutions to respond to climate change's impacts and prevent its negative effects on local economies.
The CREATE Project's final conference in Venice will present a review of concrete examples and success stories showing how public administrations, businesses, civil society and the scientific community have successfully collaborated to improve communities' resilience to climate change.
The conference will present a review of the best initiatives that, from Veneto to the other regions bordering the Adriatic Sea, have built concrete and functional solutions to adapt to climate change and minimise the impacts of flooding, geo-hydrological instability, and sea-level rise. Furthermore, the best of these initiatives, as judged by a jury of experts, will receive the A3-Adriatic Adaptation Award, established to give visibility to the best climate change adaptation solutions implemented in the Adriatic regions.
The conference programme is available at this link.
