The second local conference of COASTENERGY in the Marche region “COASTENERGY: at the boundaries of blue energy!” was successfully held on the 30th of September in Ancona. Thanks also to the synergy with the “Tipicità in blu” blue economy festival, the event succeeded in gathering 50 registered attendees, but reached more than 1.100 persons via social media. Participants included regional authorities, innovative companies from the region and beyond, as well as a set of qualified speakers from the Horizon Europe Committee on Climate, Energy and Mobility, the Technological Hub of the High Adriatic Sea, and Mare FVG - the maritime cluster of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. The event fulfilled the objective to present the results of the COASTENERGY project at the cross-border and local level, framing them within the wider European and regional energy strategies. It also served to consolidate relationships with local stakeholders, and to establish contacts with experts and other EU-funded projects (Interreg MED BLUE DEAL and BLUE_CROWDFUNDING, Interreg Italy-Croatia JOINT_SECAP), in view of future collaborations.
