The monument to San Benedetto's seafaring history, represented by the bow of the former motor fishing vessel "Geneviève", was inaugurated in front of the civil, military and religious authorities, who were received in compliance with the anti-COVID security rules and restrictions. The event was also attended by hundreds of citizens from behind the balustrades of the park in Viale delle Tamerici where the monument stands.
