This document represents the third Operational Evaluation for the year 2023 of the Evaluation Service of the Interreg Italy-Croatia CBC Programme 2014-2020. It provides final considerations regarding the financial and procedural progress of the Programme - including an overview on Standard, Standard+, Strategic and Cluster projects, as well as the update of the output indicators.

Two additional topics were investigated:

1) An analysis on the use of left-over resources, demanding an analytical comparison of other Programmes and the definition of a set of good practices usable according to Italian legal framework

2) An evaluation of the different approaches used in the drafting of various calls to assess their efficacy and efficiency with a purpose to investigate whether and how the different approaches adopted for the calls triggered distinct results.
